Patricia Cadaveira

A Coruña, Galicia (Spain).

At present, she is saxophone teacher at oficial music schools in Galicia (Spain) and combines his career with being part of artistic projects "Marés Sonoras" (Iberian Music), In_keys duo (sax & percussion) and "Lago" (Theater&Music), among others. 

 

Grant holder by the Council of her hometown with an artistic scholarship, she finish her esearch proposal for the Master in Musical Performance Techniques of ESMAE of Oporto. She has been teacher at Conservatorio Aveiro Calouste Gulbenkian, Portugal, living in this country for five years.

Recently, she has been co-composer the flim "¿Que hicimos mal? (Liliana Torres) and in 2019 of "A Media Voz" BSO (directors: Heidi Hassan and Patricia Perez), a documentary awarded with the first prize in Amsterdam, among others.

She started studying music at Conservatorio de Música in A Coruña, with Eva Aguiar and Narciso Pillo as her main saxophonistic references. She combined her music studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the University of A Coruña and with a course on music education after- wards. In 2009, she moved to Zaragoza to complete saxophone studies under the guidance of Federico Coca and Mariano García at Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón (CSMA), where she obtained a Superior Degree Certificate in Music gaining an A grade. 

 

She attended advanced courses with Claude Delangle, Jean-Marie Londeix, Vincet David, Arno Bornkamp, Christian Wirtz, Lars Mlekusch and the ensemble Squillante. She performed as a soloist and with different chamber groups in many concerts and recitals in Spain, Portugal, Holland, Italy and New York.
